SpiNNaker (Spiking Neural Network Architecture) is a neuromorphic platform developed by the University of Manchester, specifically by the Advanced Processor Technology (APT) research group led by Prof. Steve Furber.
We received the trust of Prof. Steve Furber to become partners in using and developing SpiNNaker applications, and we were granted a SpiNNaker platform consisting of 4 chips as well as another SpiNNaker platform consisting of 48 chips.
Here at Petra Christian University, we are developing various applications that use those SpiNNaker board, especially for helping our students in understanding how advanced processor technology works as well as how neuromorphic computing works.
